LAKE FOREST, Ill. –
Deborah O’Connor, 45, joined Trustmark this week in the newly created position of Vice President, Marketing Strategy and Branding. She reports to Chief Enterprise Marketing Officer Jim Coleman.
O’Connor will be responsible for helping Trustmark focus on the integration of consumer insights into growth strategies for individual business units and enterprise as a whole.
“Deb is exceptionally skilled in acquiring the latest information regarding consumer wants and needs that will help us better understand our customers and what drives their decision-making,” said Coleman. “She delivers customer-centric messaging that increases brand awareness and attracts new markets. In addition, she brings a strong digital media skillset and social media background to the Trustmark table.”
O’Connor most recently was Vice President, Brand Strategy and Lead Generation, for Combined Insurance in Glenview, Ill. Prior to that, she was Director, Marketing Communications, for Culligan International in Rosemont, Ill., and Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, for Zebra Technologies in Vernon Hills, Ill.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Marketing from DePaul University in Chicago.
