Why do you like working for the company?
I like working for CoreSource because my job is different every day. The calls and callers are never the same. Every day we meet new challenges; this makes the day very exciting. With the wide range of questions from members and the ever-changing healthcare industry, we are always learning. We have to stay on our toes and drink in as much information as we can.

How do you know your job makes a difference in others’ lives?
Every day we talk to people that are reaching out with problems and questions. A call may be five minutes or 30, but when you complete a call and hear the smile in their voices, you know you made a difference.

Why do you like working for the company?
The career opportunities seem endless. From day one in training for customer service to my first day as a claims analyst to current system update training, CoreSource has motivated me to continue striving toward a bigger goal. A huge benefit I’ve reaped from CoreSource is its tuition reimbursement program. It allows me not only to further my education and seek higher positions within the company, but also to better the company and my fellow co-workers/teammates.

How does working at the company measure up to a similar company or companies you may have worked for in the past?
Hard work NEVER goes unnoticed at CoreSource. I was referred by a friend to join the CoreSource team. A year later, after being awarded the position of a claims analyst, I referred a friend to replace my customer service position. The referral alone did not go unappreciated. Within the next 30 days or so of my friend being hired on, I received a generous referral bonus!

Why do you like working for the company?
It is a very good company to work for. I have never felt as comfortable with my coworkers, leads and supervisors at any other job. I feel like I can go to them if I need something and they will handle it in a timely manner.

What stands out about the culture of the company?
The company is very diverse which I believe is the number one reason I love working here.

How do you know your job makes a difference in others' lives?

From the comments, emails and phone calls we receive from participants who have lost weight, lowered their cholesterol or no longer have health issues. It lets me know that although we are only taking calls and speaking with participants from two to ten minutes, we are making a huge impact in their lives, even if it’s just login support or explaining the wellness programs.

Why do you like working for the company?
HealthFitness has the right resources to make me successful in the company. With online resources, regular regional calls and assistance through the Preferred Purchasing Program, we have many ways to get information at our fingertips. Another valuable thing about HealthFitness is how management support comes from varying levels, lending different perspectives. I feel employees are comfortable when approaching leaders ranging from the CEO to the Regional Managers. That’s a real advantage to have.

What stands out about the culture of the company?
HealthFitness prides itself on helping those they serve, which carries over to the way they treat their employees as well. Part of HealthFitness’ success stems from their Mission Statement, reflecting not only how they tackle their clients’ needs, but also that which permeates into the culture of their own company.

Which of your personal values align with the company’s values? In which way?
Loyalty. HealthFitness treats us well and believes in what we have to offer as a staff. In turn, we work hard to make them proud of our efforts. Many times during presentations, it’s brought out that HealthFitness’ biggest asset is its employees. That sends a message to our employees that we’re valuable. To many people that’s just as important as the amount of money they may be making at their job.

How do you know your job makes a difference in others’ lives?
When I see people continually coming back to our fitness centers or signing up for annual health management programs, it shows me that they value what we offer and want to continue participating. Of course, we get immediate feedback both verbally and visually from our clients. This also shows that both their efforts and ours are affecting them in a positive way.

Why would someone want to work at the company?
Besides being one of the largest and most reputable corporate fitness management companies in our industry, we also carry such a diverse collection of knowledge among our colleagues to tap into. Our network of information is so vast. HealthFitness also offers room for growth if you are a committed employee and are willing to really put in the work.

How does working at the company measure up to a similar company or companies you may have worked for in the past?
HealthFitness has been the most professional organization I’ve worked for so far. Its operational processes, network of staff and involvement of upper management is unmatched by any company I’ve come across in my career in the fitness industry.

Do you have any other comments about your own work experiences at the company that would be valuable to future recruits?
I would take advantage of the different job opportunities within HealthFitness, whether you get paid for it or not. Being “volunteered” or “voluntold” isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you are learning a new skill or being exposed to something different. The more you learn, the farther you will go, not only at HealthFitness but in life, as well.

Why do you like working for the company?
HealthFitness gives me an opportunity to help expand my professional career on a continual basis. Being “in the field,” I expand my knowledge by attending industry and HealthFitness-based conferences, certifications and meetings, with information I also bring back to my team. I learn more of the business end through eTrainings, through the HealthFitness social media platform, Fuser, and the new client platform. HealthFitness is continually pushing its employees to be creative and innovative and I truly LOVE that about this company. Our industry is constantly evolving – with the latest trends and technology – and although it is challenging, HealthFitness does its best to do what is necessary to keep up to date.

How do you know your job makes a difference in others’ lives?
I see firsthand the amount of stress our members go through and the fitness center is their way to relieve stress. Our members go out of their way to tell us personally how much they appreciate our being here to motivate and encourage them to strive to be healthier and stronger individuals. They also look forward to the abundant positive energy the facility holds; a nice change from the stressful environment at work. As a fitness professional, I thrive on seeing others reach their goals and continuously strive for more and more.

Why would someone want to work at the company?
I absolutely love the fact that I can work within my respective group on a regular basis, but at the same time still be connected with my colleagues on the West Coast through Fuser. The ideas and topics that have surfaced on Fuser are pretty incredible!

Why do you like working for the company?
I love the flexibility the company offers.

The diversity of the company. By that I mean that we have a very diverse population and there are a diverse number of individuals working in positions of authority. So, for me, I see room for growth.

Which of your personal values align with the company’s values? In which way?
Family — it is most important to me. I like how the company tries to reach out to families, especially with those that are having a difficult time with their claims. I often hear from customers that Trustmark is there for them in their time of need.

How do you know your job makes a difference in others’ lives?
By how often my clients ask to speak to my supervisors so they can tell them how helpful I was to them.
